Winter is coming.
Temperatures are dropping and you’re layering up. With winter chill, comes a whole new wardrobe and fresh style. You can mix up between accessories, sweaters, pants, boots, the possibilities are endless.
A great advantage of all the knits and layers is the ability to change an outfit by just swapping a small item.
Scarves and head wraps are becoming more and more of a statement. With bold colors, bright patterns, and different styles, scarves can make a basic and somewhat bland outfit trendy effortlessly. When working with bold colors and patterns, keeping the main outfit simple and neutral allows the scarf to pop and get the attention it deserves. Getting creative with colors is another plus. You can mix up the different tones and keep certain items as the focal point. Brown boots, olive jeans, grey top, maroon scarf… you can switch it up and make it work to your advantage. Guys can pair colored scarves with sweaters, Clarks, and khakis or jeans. Everything above applies for both guys and gals. My personal favorite thing is the circle/eternity scarf. Its super easy, comfy, warm, and easy to mix and match.
Boot socks are great as well. You can keep your toes warm and toasty and add some great winter patterns to your outfit. Brands and stores are getting new styles all the time with the popular trend. You can have the peak a little above your boots or get bold and show a little more. The pop of color can make your simple sweater, legging, and boot outfit a little trendier.
Getting a few basic accessories in various colors opens up a lot of options for your wardrobe.
